Risky Pool is a 1998 Dutch Studbook mare by the incredible Dutch accredited (one of only two in the USA) Thoroughbred stallion "Final Pool". Final Pool competed at world cup level for Canada in the 1980's. Final Pool is the sire of the very successful hunters Special Occasion and Showboat, as well as , the well received hunter stallion Special Event. Risky Pool is out of our foundation mare Harley (b. Easy Rider) who continues to compete in high amateur owner jumpers at the age of 16 after having 5 foals! Harley received her Sport Predicate from the NA/WPN in 2000. We expect great things from Risky Pool who made her debut in the jumper ring in 2003.
Risky Pool's first foal "Voilá" was born on March 26, 2002. This solid dark brown filly is by the phenomenal European jumper star "Emilion". Emilion jumped at the highest levels, winning the World Cup at Millstreet and many other top placings in Germany and London with the German World Cup team. Emilion is also a very successful sire. His extremely talented and successful offspring include Glasgow ridden by Norman Del Jello. We hope that we have fences tall enough to hold Voilá with the bloodlines she carries.
